My career objective is to improve my roll as a translator of business intelligence into portable knowledge-worker web-based applications.

Development and Programming
I develop custom applications, most of which are housed in Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007) in ASP. I write dashboard webparts to provide executive overview of various reports, metrics, key performance indicators (KPI's) and customized reports, charts, and graphs for all aspects of accounting and other database driven applications.
I also develop internal websites and web applications such as customer relationship management, vendor management, safety violation tracking, equipment sales and custom invoice tracking and presentation tools. I provide search engine optimization for the public websites I develop as well as sites that already have been developed.
I have written web-based application for Spectrum Construction Software (formerly Forefront Accounting Software) Including web-based interactive reports, software interfaces, data conversion programs, network management software, inventory control software, and much more.
In the past I have developed accounting software in Open Systems Accounting Software environment in both text-based and graphical interfaces, including custom modifications to existing software as well as new product development. My team developed the Open Commerce Suite that interfaces existing accounting software with its customizable “Web Store”. This suite was developed with Business Basic Programs on the back end using Open Systems File Structures or SQL databases to create dynamic web pages and JavaScript that are fired off by CGI scripts and invoke C++ applications to generate SSL negotiation of XML data for Secure Credit Card transactions. I have also written custom shipping API's for the Open Commerce product and consider it a cutting edge web application and I remain very proud of the products and my team.

I design and support primarily windows networks. I install and troubleshoot cabling, network bottlenecks, DNS issues, DHCP errors, wireless networking, VPN, and other network connectivity issues. I support Microsoft Exchange Servers, terminal servers, firewalls, gateway appliances, routers, switches, hubs, printers and print servers, LAN and WAN networks.
Servers
I design, build, and support mostly windows server builds usually include Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 Server or Small Business Server. Most servers that I build are custom servers that include SCSI raid arrays ( or SATA raid on an entry level server ) redundant power supplies. tape backup drives, network attached storage, and uninterruptible power supplies ( UPS ). I support HP, Compaq, Dell, and custom built, or white box Servers.
Workstations
I also build workstations especially if there is a special need on a workstation, though usually recommend buying them if you only have standard needs. I also recommend buying Wyse Winterms and using Terminal Services in Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server or Windows 2008 Server for ease of centralized management, application deployment/upgrading and lower total cost of ownership.
Software
I am called upon to setup and deploy a variety of services for our clients including DNS, DHCP, NTFRS, Distributed File System, Web Services (IIS), FTP Services, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, NT Backup, Veritas Backup Exec, ArcServe, Microsoft Software Update Server ( SUS ), and Terminal Services. I manage Active Directory for windows Servers and have developed man applications for its management and presentation. I also support a variety of End-User Software including Spectrum Accounting Software (formerly ForeFront), ACT, Microsoft Office Products ( Outlook, Outlook Express, Word, Excel, Access, Front Page ), Symantec Antivirus and many more.

I went to Robert E. Lee High School and finished with a GPA of 3.6. I majored in all sciences and completed two years each of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus. My extracurricular activities included: Chess Club (president), Chemistry Club (co-president), The Junior Engineering Technical Society, The Academic Decathlon, Debate, Spanish Club, and Latin Club. I have attended San Antonio College part-time for three years maintaining a 3.5 GPA and am declared a double major in Mathematics and Physics, however most of my hours are in Psychology. I read vigorously and am most interested in business intelligence, ancient civilizations, language acquisition, and the evolution of consciousness.

As IT Director I manage all information, custom programming and development, software rollouts and upgrades, network infrastructure, network and network services uptime, phone systems, security system, and access control. I also sit on the Board of Directors for the Yantis Company.

Network Administrator for a network with multiple windows 2003 servers and xp clients. Manage Microsoft SQL Server, Pervasive SQL and Flexdata databases. Develop custom web applications and database applications in asp, Access and SQL. Manage Exchange Server for fixed and mobile users. I maintain servers and pc health. I Support the administration of ForeFront Accounting Software, now Spectrum Construction Accounting Software in a mixed environment with pc clients and terminal services.

Support professional supporting windows networks, computers, servers and accompanying services, desktops, Open Systems Accounting Software, Integration. I design and build these networks as well as servers, workstations, and customized accounting software. Design and Build Ecommerce applications in BBX to build DHTML Database driven websites. Deployed to IIS (Windows), Apache(Linux and Unix). Develop accounting software and modifications to Open Systems Accounting Software in all modules. Also administered 2000 Server network via Active Directory with nine clients ranging from Windows 98 to 2000 Pro using Citrix MetaFrame laying over Terminal Services. I have implemented Credit Card API’s for LinkPoint and Visanet using XML and C++ for integration into B2C applications.

I managed the Saloon and Café in the heart of one of San Antonio’s longest running businesses, the legendary Buckhorn. My duties include human resources, staff management, all cash handling, inventory control, cost analysis, customer service, party planning, menu design and development, POS and computer system management.

Designed, built and posted web pages for personal use and small corporate websites. Consulted on design and deployment of other small websites to public and private networks.

Designed and built custom computers and small networks, installed operating systems including all flavors of Windows. Onsite repairs and component replacement including motherboards, drives, cards, power supplies, RAM, and processors.

With a background in electronics, i built my first switching computer by sixth grade and learned basic programming the summer before high school. In high school I took classes in BASIC, Pascal, and systems analysis. In college I took Fortran 77 and have since picked up HTML, BBX, JavaScript, and VBScript. I’ve written database managers, accounting software, payroll management applications, as well as software for mathematical, physics, and electronics applications.
