Development and Programming I develop custom applications, most of which will be housed in Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007) in ASP or ASP.NET. My team developed the Open Commerce Suite that interfaces existing accounting software with its customizable “Web Store”. This suite was developed with Business Basic Programs on the back end using Open Systems File Structures or SQL databases to create dynamic web pages and JavaScript that are fired off by CGI scripts and invoke C++ applications to generate SSL negotiation of XML data for Secure Credit Card transactions. ServersI design, build, and support mostly windows server builds usually include Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 Server or Small Business Server. Most servers that I build are custom servers that include SCSI raid arrays ( or SATA raid on an entry level server ) redundant power supplies. tape backup drives, network attatched storage, and uninterruptable power supplies ( UPS ). I support HP, Compaq, Dell, and custom built, or whitebox Servers.
WorkstationsI also build workstations especially if there is a special need on a workstation, though usually recommend buying them if you only have standard needs. I also recommend buying Wyse Winterms and using Terminal Services in Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server or Windows 2008 Server for ease of centralized management, application deployment/upgrading and lower total cost of ownership.
